Well my may post was getting a little too long so I figured I'd make a separate post for Trevor's birthday weekend. We wanted to go somewhere and go camping, but with Memorial day weekend it's a crazy world out there so we decided we'd do it another weekend.
Instead, we woke up & picked up Chick-fil-a for breakfast on our way to Pineview Reservoir. We went for a little run & then just enjoyed hanging out by the water. Will was obsessed with watching the water crash against the rocks & Cooper even jumped in for some sticks.
I wish I'd written these down from every year. But I've started to ask friends and family 3 highlights from the year they just finished and 3 predictions for the next year. So here's Trevors he had had 4 of each.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM 26
-passing all the CPA exams
-becoming a dad
-starting his career
-visiting his mission & SE Asia
-
PREDICTIONS FOR 27
-move into a house
-go on a big trip
-finishing licensing for CPA
-get pregnant (THIS ONE IS DEFINITELY NOT HAPPENING, but Trevor thinks he's funny.)
I still get a little fix of my rock climbing and adventure.
Then that night his parents came down to babysit & we went to the luxury movie theaters to see the newest Avengers. We spent Sunday dinner and Memorial Day up in Logan, but it ended up being pretty cold. We went for a bike/mountain board ride and looked at the developing neighborhoods around Trevor's hometown. We'd love to be back in Cache Valley, but that's not where life is taking us right now.
